Tether MDK Gains Support from 15 Mining Companies to Advance Bitcoin Mining Automation
Digital asset company Tether has announced that 15 Bitcoin mining companies, ASIC manufacturers, and mining pools have committed to collaboratively build and maintain the integration of its open-source mining development kit (MDK). The MDK aims to standardize the access methods for different mining infrastructures, supporting developers in building applications and AI automation systems. Participants will develop and maintain the MDK Worker, converting their respective hardware, mining pools, or system interfaces into a universal interface; there is no need to replace existing technologies, and they can decide which features to open. Existing applications can access different mining environments through the MDK. Tether's QVAC mining proxy has already integrated with mining infrastructure via the MDK. Version 0.11 of the MDK will be released at the Lugano Plan ₿ Forum from October 23 to 24, with the first stable version 1.0 planned for launch by the end of 2026.
