NIP Group Acquires Bitcoin Mining Machines Adding 4.47 EH/s Capacity
NIP Group has agreed to purchase Bitcoin mining machines with a hash rate of approximately 4.47 exahash per second. The equipment is already installed and operational, reducing the need for new facilities, but the deal is subject to closing. NIP Group plans to issue up to 247091740 Class A ordinary shares as consideration for the equipment, which may dilute existing investors. If the acquisition closes, NIP Group's total mining capacity could reach about 13.85 EH/s, potentially producing around 195 Bitcoin per month at full deployment. This projection depends on various factors including global network hash rate and mining difficulty. NIP Group is positioning its computing infrastructure to bridge digital entertainment and Bitcoin mining, although the hardware requirements for these sectors differ. The current milestone is a signed purchase agreement, with future production and energy economics determining the success of the expansion.
