NFT Limited Launches Open Source RWAIX, Plans Pilot in Q1 2027
NFT Limited (stock code MI) released the technical protocol RWAIX in Hong Kong on October 13 and made it open source on GitHub under the MIT license. The protocol aims to allow buyers, sellers, AI agents, and robots to verify identities, confirm agreements, and ensure deliveries actually occur, with existing digital art platforms serving as the first real-world scenario. Internal testing by the company showed that all 50 tests passed, and they plan to initiate a limited live pilot within 90 days after completing an independent security review, targeting Q1 2027. The reference implementation includes core protocol logic in Node.js, 50 automated test cases, and related documentation. RWAIX has not yet been integrated into the production environment, and the timeline may be adjusted. The pilot will upgrade the purchasing, delivery, verification, payment, and dispute resolution processes of existing NFT orders, utilizing current banking channels. CEO Yanying Wang stated that the protocol will be validated for real customer orders in the next 90 days.
