Press Release:

ABA Life, the healthcare arm of ABA Technology Group, announced the signing of a $40 million investment agreement with Admaius Capital Partners, with the completion of the deal subject to customary closing conditions and approval from the Competition Council in the Kingdom of Morocco. This deal represents an important milestone in ABA Life's growth journey and its ambition to build a leading Moroccan healthcare technology company with an international presence.

Founded just five years ago, ABA Life has successfully developed a comprehensive and profitable business model that combines artificial intelligence, medical technology, telemedicine, connected health infrastructure, and the operation of healthcare services. Through large-scale programs implemented in collaboration with public institutions and development organizations, the company has demonstrated its ability to transform technological innovations into practical solutions that contribute to expanding access to healthcare services.

AI for Sovereign Health

Accelerating innovation and expansion will support the investment in a new phase of the company's growth based on three main priorities: accelerating the implementation of the "AI for Sovereign Health" program through the Mediot AI platform and developing clinical intelligence solutions; developing the necessary capabilities to produce the group's technologies and health services and disseminate them widely; and accelerating expansion into international markets.

Building on its technological capabilities and operational expertise, ABA Life intends to develop an advanced next-generation platform in healthcare technology that combines artificial intelligence, medical innovation, and operational efficiency, with the goal of building one of the next Moroccan technology companies valued at over one billion dollars, known as a "unicorn."

Mohamed Benouda, founder and chairman of ABA Technology, stated:

"In five years, we have proven the feasibility of building a profitable business model in healthcare technology from Morocco, capable of scaling widely. This funding marks the beginning of a new phase of accelerated growth and international expansion. We aspire for ABA Life to become a global reference in healthcare technology and one of the next unicorn companies in Morocco. Through the 'AI for Sovereign Health' program, we aim to develop a new generation of clinical intelligence solutions in Morocco and bring these solutions to international markets."

For his part, Selim El-Triqi, head of Morocco and West Africa activities at Admaius Capital Partners, said:

"Since our initial discussions, we have been impressed by what ABA Life has built, as it has developed a comprehensive model for operating healthcare services that combines medical devices, connected infrastructure, healthcare operation, and proprietary technology developed in Morocco. We are pleased to support Mohamed Benouda and his team during this new phase of growth and international expansion."

Marlon Chigwendi, managing partner at Admaius Capital Partners, stated:

"ABA Life possesses the qualities we seek in our investments, including an ambitious entrepreneurial team, a proven business model, strong technological foundations, and significant expansion potential. We are confident in its ability to become a reference company internationally in healthcare technology, and we are pleased to support this ambition.","summary":"ABA Life, a Moroccan healthcare technology company, has signed a $40 million investment agreement with Admaius Capital Partners to support its growth and international expansion."}]} }
