dYdX Treasury SubDAO Increases DYDX Buyback to Approximately 101 Million Tokens
The dYdX Treasury SubDAO has released its seventh periodic review report on the staking plan, announcing a buyback plan to purchase approximately 10.72 million DYDX tokens to be delegated to validators. The total delegated amount will increase from approximately 90.04 million to about 101 million tokens. This review follows Proposal No. 396, which on September 17 reduced the number of active validators from 31 to 21, leaving around 8.34 million DYDX tokens with validators that have exited the active set, rendering them ineligible for rewards. The review will reallocate approximately 15.15 million tokens from existing delegations, along with new delegations, adjusting a total of about 25.87 million DYDX tokens. According to the allocation rules, the lower the proportion of the delegation from the Treasury SubDAO to a single validator, the more new delegations they will receive; validators who abstained from or did not vote on recent governance proposals will see a reduction in their allocation. Delegations from five validators—Interstellar, Luganodes, Silk Nodes, Citadel.one, and DELIGHT—have been completely withdrawn.
