BTSE obtains OJK license in Indonesia and officially launches BTSE Indonesia
BTSE has officially launched BTSE Indonesia through a joint venture with PT Aset Kripto Internasional and has obtained a license for digital financial assets and cryptocurrency trading operators (PAKD) issued by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK). BTSE will provide trading infrastructure and liquidity support, while BTSE Indonesia is responsible for local market operations. The platform (btse.id) now supports withdrawals and deposits in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and IDR trading pairs, with plans to expand into futures trading and other products in accordance with local regulatory requirements in the future.
BTSE is a global blockchain technology company covering exchanges, payment solutions, and blockchain infrastructure development. This licensing further enhances its global compliance framework and lays the foundation for expanding into the Southeast Asian market and promoting the localization of digital asset services.
