Monthly trading volume for Solana-based stock tokens increased from 1.34 million dollars to 3.32 billion dollars over the past year, a surge of about 2400-fold. This growth indicates a significant rise in institutional interest in onchain capital markets. Monthly trading volume across commodities, credit assets, collectibles, and stocks grew from approximately 156 million dollars in June last year to the multibillion-dollar range a year later. Specifically, stock trading volume rose from 670 million dollars in April to 3.3 billion dollars in June, reaching a record high. This growth coincided with the New York Stock Exchange listing of Securitize, a platform for real-world asset tokenization. Following its listing in July, Securitize tokenized SECZ shares linked to SpaceX on Solana.
