Intel to Report Q2 Earnings After Hours on Thursday, Expected EPS of $0.22 and Revenue of $14.4 Billion
Intel (INTC.O) will report its Q2 earnings after hours on Thursday, with analysts expecting an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.22 and revenue of $14.4 billion. Srini Pajjuri, an analyst at CIBC, anticipates that server CPU sales will maintain double-digit growth throughout the year. Layoff news may become a focal point of discussion, as Intel plans to cut jobs in its data center division. Analysts are also watching to see if the company will disclose any potential new customer relationships with Apple. Reports in May indicated that Apple and Intel had reached a preliminary agreement for Intel to manufacture some chips for Apple devices. On June 18, Trump stated that Apple had agreed to collaborate with Intel to design and manufacture its chips in the U.S. Intel's earnings report and guidance will provide clarity on the timeline for chip demand, as market concerns regarding this issue remain unresolved.
